From December 15th to 17th, 2023, we will immerse ourselves in an unparalleled experience in the majestic heart of the Mayan jungle of Palenque, Chiapas, in honor of the mystical king Pakal. This event brings with it a historic moment, as we will have the honor of hosting the legendary Dub artist, Mad Professor. Originally from Guyana and known in the real world as Neil Fraser, Mad Professor is a master at blending genres and creating unique soundscapes. Throughout his career, Mad Professor has collaborated with a number of renowned artists, including Lee “Scratch” Perry and Massive Attack, further elevating his prestige in music. His unique production skills and passion for sonic experimentation have elevated him to the status of a living legend, influencing entire generations of musicians and producers. His collaborations with iconic figures in music and his production prowess have propelled him to the top of the global music scene. In this special event, Mad Professor will transport us on a sonic journey that will immerse us in the essence of the Mayan jungle.
